Not true about the permanent impound Paul. There are a lot of municipalities that do just that and then crush the cars. It's legal and it happens. Not for government intrusion, but also not for idiots on the street possibly plowing into me with my family in the car and killing someone. Extreme measures caused by extreme circumstances.
