Its hard to really describe.... but I welded a washer onto a carriage bolt, then put it upside down through the top hole on the bracket.... welded a nut onto the top of the bracket so it threads to it, then welded a wing nut onto the top of the bolt..... now I can just crank down on it and its very tight.... and doesn't go into the wood so we can move it anytime we want . Simple, but effective.... a new bracket at Ace hardware was $25! I made this out of scraps for free
