I have just been a little preoccupied with work (lightning damaged my office LAN, printer, phones and laptop) and with my mom. So I just haven't been on the PC, though I still stay up as late as always and read through everyone's posts.
I had to forceably put my mom in the hospital for a psyc eval (dementia, she's 87 this week) and no sooner than we got her out, she put herself back in for chest pains. The CAT scan showed cancer... again.  We will see how it goes. We have never been really close but it still wears on you to watch her go downhill. Going over to her house today to cook her some of my Italian Sausage spaghetti for her B'day. She has been begging for some of my cooking. AND it is great cooking by the way!

You're in my thoughts and prayers. My inlaws are the older of our sets of parents and I'm going thru alot of things with them and it's not easy emotionally, mentally and physically it's exhausting. I also do the "meals on wheels" lol. It is interesting how life goes full circle. Stay strong and ask for help when you need it...I have a hard time with that but I'm trying to learn. Have a great long weekend.
