Why do women always say this?

Every once in a while, my GF will say that men including myself, are buying the new Camaro to:

- Get back some youth
- Get attention from women
- Compensate for a perceived smaller wee-wee
- To be a DUDE
- To gain some Freedom

etc etc etc...

When I reply with "No, darling, I just like this car and it will make me happy to drive it", I am not believed.

And when she gets together with the other, um, Hens (shhh!) she says they all say the same thing about their husbands/bf's when it comes to the rides they drive...

Why do women say this? (Would appreciate hearing from any women out there who read this too!)
