Let me see if I understand this correctly....

1. Trust issues..
2. Lies..
3. Alcohol..

I believe the next two go something like this...

4. Some form of abuse..
5. Some form of legal action..

Any or all of these may be done by one or both of you. My opinion, you need to move on before steps 4 and 5 are reached. Education is expensive and you have just been schooled.
