Out for a cruise in the Convertible tonight and I notice the county sheriff following me and running my plate. Had the cruise set at the speed limit and didn't break any laws. Sure enough, the lights come on. I pull over into a school parking lot and wait for him to come up to the car. First thing he says is nice car. I ask him what the problem was. He said my plate is still registered to my old Firebird. I pulled out the transfer paperwork to the Camaro and he says looks good to me. Then he says "Damn state shutdown, still way behind I guess." He then proceeds to shut his lights off and talk about my car for a half hour. Checked it all out. Motor, trunk, interior, etc. Asked all about it. Options, HP, etc. Really nice guy. Said stay safe and no speeding. Nice guy. Looks like these cars are a target for the local force.
