No, because they sound like a sleezeball company who will - as someone suggested already - buy the same model tv, then return the broken one claiming it's the one they just bought. I wouldn't put it past them.
OP, you don't owe them the old tv. It was your family's restaurant that bought it, so broken or not, it's still YOUR property.
