did have something cool happen today... my grandpa's coming to visit tomorrow.... he was telling me something I've been waiting to hear for years. When he was 22, he bought a '37 Ford Coupe... drove away from his wedding in that car, brought all 4 of his kids home from the hospital in it... had the car for 19 years til he sold it to his cousin for $75 around 1962 under the agreement that he'd sell it back to him someday. Well, we've tried for years to try to get it back, his cousin's been dead for years.... well, its not in good shape anymore, but they agreed to the deal, they're going to sell it back to him for $75.... he's soon to be 92, doesn't really have the space to restore it.... I'm going to see about buying it from him and fixin her up..... be kinda cool me buying it at the same age he was when he bought it! He said 2nd gear went out in it back in the late 50s..... still is missing
. Got a new transmission for it still in the trunk too after all these years!
