Well I am officially out of the Navy!
I have mixed feelings, but I'm looking forward to Civilian Life. I've got a few really good prospects, but in the meantime I'm unemployed...
And because the Navy couldn't give a shit less about personal circumstance, I did not receive a final paycheck - in fact I am in the negative as far as they're concerned. ( Long story short, my NEC (job) was removed involuntarily and they want me to pay my bonus' back )
So, that's just awesome..... was counting on that last paycheck - with 2 month's worth of leave days to sell back - to pay my mortgage... and to a somewhat lesser extent, my car payment.
There is paperwork pending that would absolve me of any debt with the Navy, and I was told that the debt was suspended pending those results - nope. But I was told that when that paperwork comes back they'll pay me what I was expecting.... But in themeantime - I'm screwed....
I don't expect anything from anybody here... I am just venting....
