Back to the subject at hand, while I do think the 5.0L engine will make it's way back into a Mustang, I seriously doubt it will be the standard V8 offered in the GT. More likely, it will be featured as the mill in a special edition (i.e. Mach 1 or Boss). Will it make 400hp, it very well could, as there are already versions of the 5.0 modular engine making more than that level of power.

No prob garage, It would be nice if there was a Mach 1 or Boss developed with a 5.0, may be the push necessary for GM to put the Z28 back on the table. You have to give Ford credit for its SVT division, hopefully GM's High Performance Vehicle Operations or something close to it will be reactivated soon.
