Just got home for court. They dismissed my case and tried to give me reason why the gun pointing and tow. They said that the officer can tow for just about any reason they want. They can also search the car (take inventory) before tow. I could still fight it or just let it go to a overzealous young cop. I have no priors and didnt look like anyone wanted. I am a 43 year old clean cut business owner. They would not even consider paying for a tow and impound fee's because they said cop felt threatend becasue i pulled into my driveway so quick after he turned on his lights. thats the reason he felt threatened. Then 15 minutes later he again felt threaten when another car pulled into my driveway. My atty said it was not the time or place to argue with them and let them dismiss the case first. Car seems to be fine with no addittional miles on it.
