I am currently trying to improve my German, and Goethe is, I am told by fluent speakers of that language, a user friendly author.
I believe them, though at my level of understanding, he is HELLA hard to read (I hafta' look up nearly every third word; it really sets me out for the novice that I truly am):( Perhaps I should stick to books in French or Spanish for the time being...
