I shoved it back into it's slot and haven't used it since 72K - 95K now).

Not to mention the side windows leak and all manners of fixing the weather stripping hasn't done anything. Replacing the windows isn't even on the table, so it's a "just live with it" thing. Not like it'll bring in any trade value for the Camaro.
that sucks you guys have problems w/ fords. ive never had serious problems with my fords. i could go on and list the problems ive had w/ my GMs (warped brake rotors, LT1s eating oil... leaking oil, and all that s--t mentioned about rattling interiors and pieces breaking off??--GM has that too, MORE SO than my Fords!).

i mean come on. i've heard that found on road garbage all the time and it didn't add up when i actually compared them to other cars ive owned. ford trucks? there's a reason most municipalities and businesses use them and its not just because they fleet purchase--everything from the inside out is beefed up: frame, suspension, drivetrain... h--l you can push those trucks HARD and they still get the job done after 100K+. things still run after being abused at 200K+

for the most part theyre built well so don't expect another car company is going solve all problems cars have. the so called best of the best honda? those suckers have problems too, but they'll run to 200K, more than that, but they're going to have problems along the way (transmission rebuilds, power window failure and all that alledged "ford specific" rattling and creaks).

seriously, cars will have problems but this is especially true for year one or two of a new car, so if you don't like problems w/ your cars wait till year 3 or 4. first model year will have problems
