My dad walked away from a '65 convertible GTO with tri-power and a 4-speed over $100...
My pop still retains his principles...and we laugh about this Eff-Up all the time.
Also had a neighbor who saved all his paper route money to buy a new '70 GTO Judge convertible, 4-speed, Ram Air IV. I think there were less than 200 made. He ended up trading it a number of years later for a Trans Am and cannot even bring himself to talk about the ultra rare car he let go.
