They also said that the Mustang had the best steering of any American car...ever, that the Mustang turns in like a race car, swooned over the front end grip, and commented that the Mustang distinguished itself from the pack in the twisties (the last remark based on Loh's comments and the first based on editor MacKenzies) I don't think there they muddled much about who gets the handling crown.

They did cite the Camaro as being more refined and notably quicker in a straight line, but they didn't gush over the handling in that same manner that they did with the Mustang.

But who knows, maybe the Mustang's handling will have GM engineers running back to the track much like the LS engines no doubt prompted Ford to develop the upcoming 5.0L V8. This just could make the world a better place for all of us.

Now lets hope they (and dodge) do something with those abysmal six's. I don't want to have to troll for V8s with my LS (although when I'm done with it I'll probably have to anyway)
At least as this relates to Ford, they have no choice. It appears 4.0L Cologne V6 production is actually already over (although Ford hasn't officially confirmed this to my knowledge and likely wont as they have no reason to do so) and Ford is simply drawing units from a supply the built up prior to shutting down the line. Unless a GTDi four appears in very short order, the only viable alternative is the 3.5L V6 since that is the only currently produced V6 that has a rwd variant.
