its not orange... its Myan Red... it has been a contraversial color that was only availble for 2 years (78/79).. in certain light levels it looks orange but I asure you in person there is no doubt its true color is Red. it replaced the Bucuneer Red that was rather popular (other than black) you can see in this picture how the sunlight changes the hue...see how the shaker is its true color compaired to the color of the fender where the sun is shining on it...
