Since this is my first Mustang I have ever owned I can't put a finger on it but I see it at Club events and meetings. Some even are big GM or Dodge Truck guy yet they own a Mustang for different reasons. So far mine is, I love the Looks of the S197 and I love the 5th Gen Camaro's lines or the Dodge Challenger (Dam Sexy Car) so far for me it the way they look, or how it sounds, I could care less if it's Dodge, Ford or Chevy.........

we've got that same bond. I know exactly where you are coming from. tho I chose my alliance years ago. I will give respect where its due on a competitors part. the one thing that I will give Ford credit for is the fact that they have stayed true to their "mustang in every garage" sales pitch. by pricing it lower and offering numerous options and custom changes they have been able to sell. add to that the f-body always split the sale between 2 cars (the camaro and firebird), and lead to the camaro's hiatus. but as a musclecar enthusiast/hobbyist I give respect where it is due. I may not like the car's brand, but i cant argue with results.
