And yeah, I did. He stopped by to chat for a bit and we talked a bit of shop about the '12 'Maro. Gonna say mum on what I heard since none of it was really set in stone but we had an indepth about why ABM/Synergy Green went limited.
Lets just say it was "Let the Joneses have that color so I can look at it from afar, I'll drive Vic Red instead.."
Same reason why we won't see bright colors in large numbers on production cars either, but Fen knows this already and could speak with more GM Bible thumping authority than I could.
Also got to plant my butt in his CTF (again.. like I did with Thor back in '08). Gotta say the upgrades to the dash do work nicely and that corp. steering wheel? I like it.. yeah, I just said that.
Also ran into a Firebreather stunt car at another show later that evening so my 5th gen fix was complete by the end of the day. And that '98 Gold SS is a non hurst hard top. 1 of 23 built. Dave's got a '96 SS and a '95 Comp T/A to go with it too..
