I'll be happy to help.
I drive a 2011 GT with the M6 MT-82. The mentioned trans issues can be linked to the stock clutch pressure plate bolts backing out. This caused the clutch to not allow full disengagement leading to premature synchro wear in the transmissions. Ford realized the issue and has been using revised pressure plate bolts since early this year.
That said, I have not had a single issue. I replaced the stock shifter, clutch and trans fluid as a proactive step however never experienced a problem with the stock clutch or shifter with quite a few passes at the track with stickies.
My current setup:
RAM dual disk 9.5" clutch with aluminum flywheel
Barton shifter with deflection bracket
RP 75w-90 gear oil
It is the best manual transmission I have driven. Past manual trans cars:
2010 GT500 - TR6060
2010 Camaro SS - TR6060
2010 Mustang GT - TR3650
2008 Caliber SRT4 - Getrag DMT-6
1990 Mustang LX 5.0 - T5
My 2011 GT runs mid-11's and shifts like butter at the track. I am happy to answer any additional questions if needed.
