However my first degree started as premed, when I got to my second year and our A&PII professor happily announced "Happy to see you all back this year, this year we go to cadaver lab!" I immediately stood up and jokingly said "This isn't line art 101 where I get to draw naked chicks?" I walked out and changed my major to CGI and IT tech where I mostly concentrated on the hardware side of things. The only reason I just couldn't go through with "cadaver lab" is I'd had enough of seeing bodies. After getting out of the military I had to have lots of physical therapy, reconstructive surgery etc, I only wanted to be a physical therapist so I could help people as I admired the physical therapists who'd helped for years. I didn't feel suffering cadaver lab was worth it to be a physical therapist. My second degree (technically in dispute over 6 credit hours UNT doesn't want to acknowledge lol) is in English literature. Did I ever tell you my joke about how I got booted off the University of North Texas welcoming committee? They didn't see the humor in me telling all the new students "Come and SEE UNT!" Everyone around here does call the school UNT, ehh I used to get a kick out of it lol.
