Bought my Colorado new in '06 and normal driving I get 19-23 mpg. I-5, crew cab, 2 wheel drive. Long trips to Missouri and Texas I've gotten the best of 25 mpg. Pulling the boat or enclosed trailer gets around 14 mpg.
Before this truck I had a 99 silverado with the smaller V8 and got pretty much the same numbers and it was 4 wheel drive.
