She put her in a girls school in an attempt to break us up. We were apart just less than two years, her mom lied to me telling me she hated me for getting her into trouble. I was dating another girl I'd just proposed to and was about to get an apartment with her. My previous GF I'd fell in love with never hated me. As soon as she turned 18 and was able to leave the girls school regardless of how her mother felt, she did. She'd graduated and used her graduation present to drive straight back to Texas to find me. (yes her parents moved to OK to keep her from me, they still live there.) When I saw my beautiful Catalina standing on my doorstep I knew what I had to do, my heart was happy and breaking all at the same time. . . I broke up with Jennifer (a Catalina look alike and sweet girl). She wasn't my love Catalina though, Catalina and I were married soon after and this year is our 20th year wedding anniversary, been together nearly a quarter century!
