Coupe sales poor?????

I seem to recall a lot of gloom and doom while the Camaro was in development about how 2 door coupes sales are traditionally poor and therefore make a poor business case for a manufacturer to bring one to market. Funny thing is lately I've noticed quite a few of the Altima coupes running around here in Indy. Didn't even know what it was until I got close enough to read the nameplate on the back but it did catch my eye as a pretty sharp looking car, especially from rear angles (not too crazy about the front though). Looking at the Nissan site for the pricing it looks to be similar to the Camaros. Also reading that the new Hyundai coupe sales are exceeding expectations so far. I think this bodes well for the Camaro if people can just get over their poor preconceptions of domestic vehicles. Chevrolet sould bring back their old patriotic "Baseball, apple pie and Chevrolet" ad campaign, I bet it did pretty well for them back then.
LONG LIVE THE CAMARO!!!!!!!!!!

Funny how little the "experts" really know when it comes to predicting what people will buy. Example: "SUV loving americans will never buy one of those little Mini-Coopers,,,,,,," yeah right!
