I looked at the Buick forum and there are several threads with people complaining about engine/transmission problems.
What preceded the CEL was an acceleration problem. When she stepped on the gas, it would hesitate, then jerk forward.
Since you have a different engine, this probably doesn't apply to you though. |
Oh no! Sorry to hear about your problems Berean. How long have you had your Regal? So you have the N/A 2.4L? I know the two engines use different transmissions: the 2.4L the Hydra-Matic and the 2.0L the Aisin. I will look to see if there are any possible service bulletins about mine also
