We use a 3d printer to rapid prototype most of our parts before they hit the machine shop floor. It is very useful. We have used it to test CAI tubes on cars. Done full dyno runs with them. Very high tech stuff for sure. A true manufacturing company is always trying to be on the cutting edge of producing high quality products. It gets used from anything like DOD govt work to simple washers. We can actually print an rod end where the bearing will be able to spin on the end. If i get some time ill post up pictures of parts that we have done.
