All joking aside - do we really and truly have camaro members on this forum that see nothing wrong with the property damage caused by road hazards the retreads cause - all because someone wants to save a few pennies a mile in tires?
I'm willing to bet the money saved is even less than that given the amount of retreads on the road. Two retreads are pretty much the same price as a virgin tire. Just saying....
I'm not willing to allow this type of property damage to my car anymore. I want the road hazards to stop. I want what is clearly a grievous oversight by nhtsa to be cleaned up. I want to know when I am moving down an express way at 90 feet per second the road is reasonably free from debris.
I want to know that my children won't have to see another death due to these dang things on the road.
I got nothing against the trucking industry or the retread industry in general - just stop throwing large chunks of steel reinforced rubber at us and we can all get along.
