It's kinda a funny story, my mom and dad took me into a pet store on the southside of edmonton on my first birthday and the moment we went in Sonny came running up to me in my stroller and started licking my face and that was the moment I made the best friend I've ever had. He was always there for me and would always make sure I was protected as a child. Being that he was a Shetland Sheep Dog he would always herd me away from the stairs and he was just such a great friend. I, and I'm willing to admit this, cried so hard when he died. I don't care what anyone says; a man, no matter how macho he maybe, is allowed to cry when his best friend dies. I was the only one at home and he just collapsed on the floor so that made things difficult for me.

Sorry for thread jacking with my own little life story but life is like a party, it's not meant to last but you should enjoy the time you have.

P.S. Yes I ripped off the Prince song 1999 there also ignore my grandmother hahahaha

and I really hope you feel better she sure was a beautiful dog

She looks alot like our little Holly we lost Dec 23 2 yrs ago. She had the same color and sweet little face. I remember her white little socks and cute little bark.

We then lost her brother this January also. He loved the laser pen and sitting in the sun with his front legs crossed. We miss them both so much.

Im sorry for your loss and yours also Marine. Our pets are like family and will always be.

Heres a link to something that may give you some peace.
