The water valve is easy to replace and can be bought at any home hardware store (Lowes, Home Depot, or any mom and pop hardware store). You will need to find your water main (normally located near the road if you have city water) or the cut off valve (if you have a well and could be located near the well or in the basement) and turn the water off. Only things you'll need is a big enough wrench and some plumbers tape. I'm with Paul, it doesn't look like it needs replacing. Check the hose pipe first and make sure it was a washer before doing this.
For the gun, I use about 2 ounces of soap then fill the bottle up with water.
