Hi just wanted to take a sec to introduce myself since this forum has already given me so many ideas for my new 5th gen. Its been a long time coming, I had a 2006 Chrysler and the engine blew at 42k miles for no apparent reason
and vowed to never get another one but here nor there. After 5 weeks getting the engine replaced (under warranty, and in the mean time driving the 89 Iroc Z convertable with 60k original miles which I'm restoring) I decided to drive right to the Chevy dealer. The SS was a little out of my price range but the 1LS was just as sporty for me considering I came from a Crossover SUV and I ended up getting a Silver Ice Metallic. I've had it since last Tuesday and so far am loving the hell out of it. Pics will be posted within the next day or two...I'll be sure to have it be one with my 2 camaros side by side
and in the future post as I get my aftermarket stuff installed.
This forum gave me a lot of insight over the last 5 excruciating weeks in helping me make my decision to get a 5th gen so, hello all and thanks for everything you've unknowingly done for me so far!
