like others have said, using a classic name like that can have serious negative consequences when used on an 'undeserving' vehicle. i believe the 04-06 GTOs would've done much better & still been around today had they not called it a GTO. that thing looked like a big cavalier & i (along with many others) was upset by that. that said, calling a family sedan a GTO would have enthusiasts in an uproar!
