The mother smelled it. Ten other bystanders did not.
Her saying "surprise, surprise" when the mother told her about the new stories in prison? Not evidence.
The tatoo that says "Beautiful Life" (correct me if I'm wrong), not evidence.
Her demeanor in court? Not evidence.
The prosecution had nothing. "100% of people would not do that [react somewhat calm when told about daughter's kidnap]" etc. etc. does not make for a case.
For all we know, the grandfather really did kill her and was in cahoots with the mother. The killing may have been a convenience for Casey and therefore she showed nonchalance. Didn't the grandfather attempt to commit suicide? Just putting different perspectives out there because emotion does not dictate whether one is innocent or guilty.
Am I defending Casey? No. Am I labeling her as a killer, a monster, etc? Not with the little amount of knowledge and actual care I have for this case.
