Because there wasn't a body there was just skulls. If there wasn't blunt force trauma then you can't tell how the person died. I mean you can't do a toxic report on bones. They tried to use Google searches of "chloroform" to try to prove that she killed her by chloroform poison and duct taping the mouth and nose. Which is honestly (or sadly) is just circumstantial.
