$13,000 more for less performance. Before I settled on the Camaro, I spoke to a guy selling his SRT8 manual. Had 3,000 miles on the clock and he was convinced $45k (which is more than a new SRT8) was fair because he paid a $15,000 markup when he bought the car. So out the door, he must've paid close to $60,000.
Just for shits & giggles, I checked around and some Dodge dealers are budging on MSRP but others think they can still get $50,000 for an SRT8.

After their employee pricing promotion ended, SRT8s started piling up on dealer lots. God help them if gas goes north of $3.00 again. Even if the dealer sold the car at invoice, the
real invoice, and made no money on the sale, the Challenger would still be several thousand more than the Camaro.
