But if you say it loud enough and to the right people if it's a good idea it may get some consideration. Granted, I wouldn't put it past a congressperson to ignore this because a percentage of their votes came from people on welfare. I think the major rebuttal to the whole drug testing idea is that it may be an invasion of privacy or some other bs. But i think that the right is not waved, but augmented (for lack of a better word) when you start receiving government funding. I mean the government set rules for the loan to GM, why not some rules for the
charity to citizens.

But, if you also read the other part of my post, I said that if the government were to keep giving out money to those who abuse drugs, they might as well be aiding or funding drug running...something that I"m COMPLETELY opposed to. There are people who do drugs who get the money and should not. Then, there are people who don't do drugs and deserve the money because they need it.
