Heck Creative's X-Fi Fatality cards which is their main line came out in early 2007 which makes them a dinosaur in computer terms. Of their whole line only the X-Fi Titanium HD is relatively new and its a niche product aimed at people like me or audiophiles building HTPC's.
I'm in the same boat. Alienware has Nothing in the form of a replacement graphics card. Nvidia has a couple that will work but they don't sell them any more...

And trying to find a used laptop with a good card is nearly impossible.... So, I'm probably gonna fork out the coin for a new one.
