I just want someone to side with me that it was a nit-picky ticky tack kinda stop. People act as if they would be like "I totally deserved that happening!", if it were to happen to them.

Then I read this and raise the

flag.
Are you serious?
Pahleese...
In 23 years in Law Enforcement...7 in the state of Florida and 12 in Detroit, I have never heard the "my friend was driving and left me" excuse...NEVER. So..with this, working 23 years have I first hand or through another officer heard this lame excuse...
Why would he leave you mysteriously when the popo showed up? Did he have warrants? A wanted person?
If that's the case, and you are "rolling dirty" yourself, perhaps you need to find friends who aren't wanted....cause there would be NO reason for your friend to bail on you...thats why I raise the

liar flag. We are trained to know what's what and your "story" is so incredulous, its incredible!
On a side note....If, and I say if...you can get this friend to testify that he was driving, maybe, just maybe, the magistrate may believe you....But remember, magistrates and Judges hear just as much, if not more

than we do.
