LOL, I didn't think that It would make it past three posts. I didn't know how many fans would still be out there. I know they have a strong fanbase, but I also knew it was dying off.

So do I. Each time I watch the trailers I feel like I'm watching an entirely new show. It doesn't feel like the star trek that we have been given for the last 20 years.

As for the delay, it was inteden for last Christmas, it was even ready but was delayed due to the effects of last years writers strike. Paramount simply had a gap to fill in May. Same thing what happened with the new Harry Potter movie.

Oh and for anyone who REALLY wants to talk about Trek, Sci-Fi or TV in general, go join trekbbs.com. I've been a member there for six years plus and it's a great community.
Good info. Thanks

Plus the Klingons that were supposed to have evolved from the origonal Star Trek to the Next Generation were still looking like the Next Generation Klingons on Enterprise..

By the way the delay on the movie was because the ABL didn't work like it was supposed to on the Enterprise...
Totally agree with you. The timeline must not be ignored this time around. That new enterprise show kinda just ticked me off. Hopefully they do it right this time.
