This just proves that Saleen's glory days are numbered. They're reaching for every penny they can steal by offering mediocre improvements at preposterous prices. We all know that limiting production to 24 cars is costly, but the paint isn't that special (we could all do this at the shop for less), the supercharger is basically a bolt-on (most of us could do this one ourselves with a manual), and the overall effort in building a quality car is obviously lacking (gone are the days when Saleen would swap a good motor or do something even more creative). Saleen has failed the new Mustang and all of its Ford enthusiasts. Maybe it's time to say goodbye to Saleen.
This kind of makes me glad that Chevy doesn't have a Saleen-like entity right now. They can't make big mistakes like Saleen.
