Unless GM manages to reverse those cancelled plans for US assembly I would suspect a much higher percentage of the more conventional Ecotec four cylinders we already have and a much lower percentage of the newer 2.4L GTDi four than GM initially planned.

Don't worry, production of the 1.4L engines for the Cruze and Volt will still occur in the United States in an existing GM facility.
