Well for me, the Evo/Subaru/350z/370z are all non options. I bought my Camaro because I was too big for those cars to be a daily driver. Even a Corvette is difficult for me to drive "comfortably".

So, let's go by the assumption that my Camaro has been totaled due to a storm and I'm now in possession of a check for 40k. The purpose of me buying another car is to replace my performance oriented car.

A few thoughts jump to mind such as a used SRT8 anything, a newer Mustang GT 5.0, perhaps a used GTO or G8 GT/GXP. Plenty of power upgrades for those cars available....

I'd probably go after a SRT8 Jeep, simply because I can have the power and still have the 4 doors while getting a how the hell did I lose to that look at the track...
