My uncle, who's father, mother, and all his sisters are U.S. Citizens, just now got his citizenship. AFTER 20+ YEARS OF WAIT. Only because he was not born on this side of the border like the rest of his family.
Tell me how fair that is? Entire families seperated for decades because of this.
The truth is if ICE doesn't change their citizenship proccess, illegal immigration is going to continue at a rapid pace. The problem needs to be fixed from the source.
i think that if they are of age to join the US military, they should be able to go that route. Do a 4 year term, and when you get out, you are a citizen.

edit: i guess the hard part about that would be the language barrier.
