We had a lot of parts comming from Japan too.

and we somehow have managed to keep going. Everyone seems to miss that point. And you are right, it only takes ONE widget to shut a plant down and we've avoided that. You saw, I think, only one GM plant with down time, Shreveport. And it was back up pretty quickly. I think it's safe to say, every plant in NA has a widget built in Japan that goes on the car or truck.
Biggest problem in Japan we don't have here is the power to run the plants. They are running off hours and weekends but not able to run full production simply to keep the plants powered up. Some plants are only able to run a few hours a day just so they aren't using all the power available. That is why I listed those high volume Japanese cars. They are all built here. And yet the volumes are still down.
More too it than that, but that is a macro view.
