Have you thought about picking up a set of 17" Racestars front and rear to use when you go to the track? You can even drive on them to the track since they are DOT approved unlike Bogarts. Just swapping to Racestars shed 120lbs off my curb weight to bring my once heavy GT500 into a lean 3,660lbs, and is the main reason a bone stock 2011 GT500 ran 11.1@124.
“2006 Dodge Charger SRT8”
(Front) 17x4.5 with 2.25” backspace and M&H Racemaster 185/55/17 Front Runner
(Rear) 17x9.5 with 7.0” backspace and Mickey Thompson 275/40/17 ET Street Radial
(rear sway bar relocation required)
Also try to no lift shift 2-3 and 3-4. Keep the accelerator pressed to the floor and quickly stab the clutch pedal between shifts. You are loosing so much ground during every shift it almost makes it pointless to add any more power until you can cut down on your shift times. Ive been no lift shifting my GT500 with the stock Tremec tr6060 and clutch since the first week Ive had it its holding up great. All you need is a better clutch and Racestars and you will be running 10's.
