Oh yeah, I've driven SS's before, I was supposed to get a L99 2010 2SS but the idiotic salesman ruined it. I told my parents that the V6 is already over 300 hp, so why not a V8? They were ok with it till the salesman decided to throw out helpful words such as "SO FAST, VERY FAST, CORVETTE ENGINE, 0-60 UNDER 5 SECONDS" and such. Then I got a V6
Honestly, I'm really happy with it but wouldn't have said no to an SS I really like the low end torque it had, and how it just gets up and go's when you stomp it in S mode.
