Your car is making a lot of powet and torque but so is the Cobra. Unless you've done some serious weight reduction on the Challenger, the Cobra will give you hell even if he's running 100 rwhp less than you....

I hear ya, and agree. I want him to go back with me and try my M&H DRs on his car to see what he can do. I think he was using some kind of BFG DR and I was launching way better with my 4350 pound heifer than that light weight Cobra was.
That Cobra is super nice. It has a huge grocery list of mods. 1000HP rated built motor and all that....the works basically. He just bought it a few months ago and got it for a STEAL. I think he paid like $23K or something and it's in fantastic shape. Sounds mean as hell.
