It's kind of funny. A few years back, when GM built this Caddy 16 concept, it was designed to be purely that, a concept. Lutz even blogged that it would be impractical, and foolish to push out a V16 with 1000 hp this day in age, and expect it to sell.
even though it still magaged something like 24pmg...think abou that: 24mpg - in a 1000hp V16
Anyways, I'm glad GM is doing this. Sure, it may not be totally practical right now, but I think it will sell quite well among the Euro-folks with money.
Plus, like Stovt001 pointed out - Zeta. That's just one more vehicle to spread costs out over.
And if they're putting the soon-to-be flagship Cadillac on this chassis, what does that tell you about the quality of this platform?
