Steve, thank you for your response. Obviously those comments are those of Steve Saleen personally and do not represent the Saleen corporate point of view. Now that Steve has moved on to a Chinese manufacturer I do not anticipate any more comments from him relative to the new Camaro..

Steve, What comments are you referring to as they have been no such statements from any current Saleen personnel. Pls advise your references so we could verify where they came from.

After watching and reading about the derogatory comments made about the GM and the Camaro, I was highly disappointed with the attitude portrayed. I know you must feel that you have to play it up for the ford fans, but seriously there was no reason to make such brash statements. I have seen many “Saleen” mustangs that are nothing but a body kit and minor tuning. I personally can’t wait until the 5th generation Camaro comes out and so many saleen mustangs lose to them. The 2008 base model can’t even beat the 2002 Z28 or Trans am. For $20,000 more money. Yes I have driven both, and I am definitely a future 5th Generation Camaro owner.



Sadly I will not purchase anything from Saleen in the future. I guess my dream of an S7 at retirement will be another super car.
