Mrs. Number 3 was heavily involved in the C5 with Chevrolet. I remember her bringing home the early hardtop car when it was supposed to be just a stripper. Cloth seats roll down windows etc. But someone realized making a cheap Corvette was just a less profitable one so the Z06 was born. My team did the Carbon Fiber hood in the last years production. So we have a warm spot for that car.
It is certainly a better price, but after cruising Woodward today and another 100 or so miles, I've come to the conclusion that I'd have a hard time taking a C6 or C6 Z06 over a Camaro SS. It is really growing on me. But a C5 Z at the right price is certainly tempting.

man, i'd love to have one of the '00 model FRC cars (with the 02-04 LS6 swapped in). the idea of having a stripper would rock my socks!
that's an option i was hoping for with the camaro: manual windows, locks, and seats
