Well... it's made by Rockstar, so it's kinda hard to go wrong I've been playing it the last couple days, GREAT game! Controls feel exactly like GTA (driving and walking and such), but this is not a 'go and cause random mayhem' game. Though you can do that, there are repercussions (remember, you're a detective).

Story line is pretty cool so far, though personally I've taken more time just stopping at random street crimes and finding the various hidden cars around the map... which, by the way, is freaking GIANT! Another bonus: I think just about all the cars in the game were scanned in from Jay Leno's personal collection.

Another cool little factor: since they used the face scanning tech for this game, you'll see a lot of in game characters that look nearly identical to their real life counterparts. First time I've gone through a game and had the "I've seen this guy/gal in a movie or show somewhere..." Very cool

The only disappointing thing so far about this game: After playing this, every other game is going to fall short when it comes to realistic facial expressions. Seriously, it's amazing how good they are, and everything else is going to seem a bit plasticy and odd by comparison.

So yes, would highly recommend this game
