I'm one of the 370z's biggest supporters, partially because i drive a Z now so i understand their line of thinking, but mostly because i am open to all kinds of cars so can appreciate when a car comes out at 30k that can compete with cars 2-3 times that price (much like the Corvette....

)
That being said i don't think the 370z 'OWNS the table', i think its the best car of that type for its price range. I think the Camaro is the best car of ITS type for its price range.
I think the Camaro will be more fun to drive because of the low end torque and more power. Hopefully its just as exciting as the GTO and that it hasn't been dulled down too much. While i think the 370z will be more of a precise handling car, a lot more of a "car glove".

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."
